Casa Milana is the creative studio of designer Mario Milana and his wife Gabriella Campagna. They have expanded their Milan-based home studio into both a physical space and a philosophy of living. It is the world in which Mario’s designs live and take inspiration from, infused with the curatorial eye of Gabriella in both the material and immaterial aspects of life. Casa Milana embraces a pursuit of home—within and without—where presence, nourishment, nature, safety and togetherness are essential components. The studio explores the dynamic relationship between aesthetics and consciousness. Their Milan space hosts gatherings, workshops and talks with healing practitioners, artists, cooks and scholars. Over the years, Mario’s work as a designer has been in dialogue with his wife Gabriella’s practice in mind-body traditions and somatic therapy, as well as her background as an actor and dancer. Both partners have a long time meditation practice.
